Community Projects
Garth Web Secondary School
Working in our community is what we do, but help our community is what we love. Garth Webb Secondary School is our neighborhood high school. It is a state-of-the-art educational facility with beautiful gardens.
When it comes to gardens, if you’re not on top off the weeds they can and will take over, and thats just what they did. At one point, just before the start of the new school year, the weeds were so thick that you couldn’t see the front sign as you drove by the school.
Larry O’Malley, Garth Webb’s Principle gave us a call and asked us for help. We had our trucks and crews on site the next day to get our school looking good for the kids on their first day of classes.
The Freedom Community Garden
The Freedom Community Garden was started back in 2010 with just a hand full of volunteers and their passion for gardening.
The project has grown to supplying over 600 lbs of fresh vegetables every year to a number of organizations in Oakville, Milton and Burlington.
Willow Landscape, as well as a number of other companies such as Mattamy Homes and Deloitte Canada, have volunteered their time and resources to help families get proper nutrition and a helping hand.
